A friend of the architect reported to CNN That the couple went alone to the beach on Sunday, intending to enjoy the last day in the city, and were taking turns during the day to enter the sea, while the other was taking care of the personal belongings. However, after entering the sea of Ipanema beach, in the south of Rio, Igor was no longer seen.
After noticing the disappearance, Igor’s boyfriend sought the Fire Department, who searched the architect since the day of his disappearance.
