The young woman missing since April 3 was found dead on Monday (28) in Camacan, Bahia. Ana Lúcia Carvalho Silva, 20, would have disappeared after discussion with her ex-boyfriend.
According to the Bahia Civil Police, the case led to his former partner’s temporary arrest. The suspect confessed to the crime on Tuesday (29), and revealed the place where he hid the body of the victim, which was found in a forest area in the district of Jaqueira.
During compliance with the term, the victim’s phone was found with a local tattoo artist, who confirmed he had received the investigated device as a form of payment.
Search and seizure warrants and breakdown of the former partner’s telematic confidentiality were made. The aggressor will be responsible for the crimes of femicide and concealment of the corpse.
The Department of Technical Police (DPT/Itabuna) was called for exhumation and expertise on site.
