The head of Turkish intelligence Ibrahim Kalin today met with leaders of the Islamic Palestinian movement in Hamas to discuss the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the efforts made to achieve a ceasefire. Kalin met with Mohammad Daruis, the head of the Hamas Political Council, and the organization’s delegation, in a location that was not revealed, the agency quoted security sources. They discussed the situation in Gaza and Turkey’s efforts to end the war and “ensure the immediate entry of help” in the Palestinian enclave destroyed after 20 months of war.
