In the menu that opens by long clicking on the link, you can now see the Preview item, which opens a new site without leaving the previous page completely. The page preview can be easily closed or switched to a full-fledged tab mode.
Interestingly, this feature has been tested by Google for a very long time – since 2018, and now it has become available to most users of the stable version of Chrome for Android.
