Estimated at US$194.98 billion in 2024, the Ride-Hailing market is expected to reach US$296.57 billion by 2029, with an average annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 8.75% during the period, points out the Mordor Intelligencemarket research company.
In fact, the search for mobility services has been increasing not only in developing countries, such as India, China and Vietnam, but also in other regions, such as the United States, Europe and Brazil.
To maintain their shares in a highly competitive market, companies have improved their services and expanded their operations in mobile applications.
A good example is the inDrivea global services and mobility intermediation platform, which is celebrating six years of operation in Brazil with significant milestones from the point of view of technology, supply and security.

Investment in innovative technological solutions
Among the highlights is the implementation of the Ayan system, a new technological architecture that transforms the user experience and reinforces security on the platform. This advance accompanies the expansion of inDrive in Brazilian territory.
With the Ayan system, based on microservices, inDrive completely modernized its technological structure, ensuring greater stability and scalability to support exponential growth in the number of users and rides.
This update brought immediate benefits, such as a reduction in application loading time in Brazil – 14% lower on iOS and 17% lower on Android –, in addition to enabling the agile development of new features.
“The implementation of the Ayan system marks a significant step forward for inDrive in Brazil and globally. With this new architecture, we guarantee greater stability and agility to meet the exponential growth of our user base, in addition to enabling the launch of more robust functions for partner drivers and passengers”, explains Stefano Mazzaferro, Country Manager at inDrive in Brazil.
Security at the center of operations
For inDrive, there is no future without security, a business priority in 2024 across the world and also in Brazil. Here, for example, a complete redesign of the Security Center offers faster access and expanded functionality.
The emergency button, for example, was repositioned to make it easier to use, while new tools allow the registration of emergency contacts and guarantee priority assistance during races.
The company also implemented user name evaluation, a new internal support system (Just) with 24/7 support, and ride sharing optimization.
Another important new feature was the introduction of secure calls, which protect the privacy of telephone numbers between drivers and passengers, as well as a robust automatic moderation system to prevent inappropriate content in messages and images.
“Security is a topic that is at the heart of inDrive’s operations globally, and 2024 was an essential year for us to reinforce this commitment. We are focused on creating a more protected network for our users, with initiatives such as the reformulation of the Security Center and strategic partnerships in Brazil, advances that reflect our mission to promote mobility solutions that are accessible and fair for everyone”, comments Mazzaferro.
Strategic partnerships reinforced these initiatives, including a collaboration with the National Road Safety Observatory and the Rio de Janeiro Military Policeaimed at creating heat maps of critical regions and reinforcing policing, always respecting data protection laws.
In the country, the company also offers, for individuals, the City to City service (interurban transport), Delivery and Freight. As a solution for companies, inDrive has the inDrive Delivery category, which works as a platform for logistics management in the national market.
“inDrive continues to expand its mobility and delivery verticals in Brazil, while reaffirming its commitment to positively impact 1 billion people by 2030. The focus on security and technology will continue to be the basis for our sustainable growth and construction of solutions that meet local needs in an inclusive and accessible way” concludes the executive.
