“When I was in my early 20s, traveling the world, my focus was my career; work hard, be competitive and reach the top. That changed when I had children, and now I feel lucky to have such a wonderful family. I am very proud of my children, they are very down to earth, and their well-being is my priority and that of my husband”, the model told HELLO! magazine.

The star, who made history alongside muses such as Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista, believes she could accept more campaigns and fashion shows, but Is satisfied with the life I have built .

“I could do a lot more fashion shows, photo shoots and other projects, but maintaining a balance that allows me to spend quality time with my family and be there when they need me is much more important to me than making a big new campaign.”

Claudia is one of the greatest symbols of the period that became known as “era of supermodels “, and declared that the 1990s were a cultural revolution.

“The 1990s saw the rise of supermodels, but also the rise of style culture and bold creativity. A wave of young talent fundamentally changed the way we viewed fashion and design. Previously, models were classified as catwalk or photographic, but, like supermodels, we overcome these barriers becoming well-known names and symbols of success in our own right”, he explained.

The German admitted that the work pace was intense : “We were at the forefront of everything and made what we wanted happen, which was revolutionary for the industry. I barely took a day off, constantly traveling the world, but I also had a lot of fun. It was only when I got married and later became pregnant, slowing down my routine, that I could really look back and appreciate how special the 1990s were – a unique decade, unlike any other,” he concluded.
