Investigation
Investigations began after a woman reported to the police that she bought imported perfumes for $ 857.90, but upon receiving the products, she found that they were counterfeit.
Expertise confirmed the presence of substances such as methanol and ethanol in concentrations outside the standards established by Anvisa, as well as the absence of registration with the regulatory agency.
According to police, one of the women investigated would have moved more than $ 1.2 million, while the others moved $ 600,000 and $ 300,000, respectively.
