The campaign begins with Phil, Claire and Cam reacting to a photo that Hayley (Sarah Hyland) sent to the family group on the messaging app. “Ah, let me see!” Mitchell says as he enters the room. When Phil tells him to look at the group, Clarie and Cam stay quiet.
“Did you create a family group without me?,” Mitchell asks before uttering his iconic line, “Shame!” (Shame, in free translation into Portuguese).
A painter listening through the window overhears their conversation and suggests they use WhatsApp, a “perfect and private” messaging service.
The scene shifts to the Pritchett-Tucker residence, where Cam and Mitchell are scrolling through their phones in bed. Reacting to the selfies Claire shared in the new WhatsApp group, Mitchell admits he is having trouble getting over being excluded from the group.
“Well, we might have cut you out of here,” Cam says pointing to the phone before placing his hand over his heart. “Never from here.”

The actors published photos on the set of the commercial in May, making waves on the web. Until then, it was unclear why the series’ stars returned to the set.
