Modern Warfare 2 promises incredible conflict and working anti-cheat, and Warzone 2.0 will be released before the end of the year

Representatives of Activision promised that on June 8 a full-fledged trailer for the new part of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 shooter would be presented, and yesterday the developers from Infinity Ward fulfilled this promise. Moreover, they not only presented videos with rather epic military clashes, but also told a lot of interesting information about the new part of the popular franchise. For example, Modern Warfare 2’s story campaign is set to delight fans of the series with a formidable global conflict featuring well-known members of Task Force 141.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), the authors of the project do not tell the details of the storyline – the scriptwriters only promised a lot of different tasks in terms of gameplay, including open collisions, mass shootings, stealth and more. All this is directly related to some great threat that hangs over the world, and it is with this threat that the main characters of the series will have to fight. In addition, after the completion of the storyline, gamers are offered to complete several tasks in the format of cooperative special operations. This, according to the developers, will allow you to better prepare for multiplayer battles.

Even in terms of gameplay, the staff of Infinity Ward promises a lot of pretty classic bonuses for the franchise. It will be possible, for example, to upgrade your weapons in multiplayer battles by adding many different body kits, accessories and skins. Also in the single player campaign there will be advanced artificial intelligence, which has become smarter and more cunning, and such an ambitious anti-cheat Ricochet should be added immediately on release. Of course, it does not work as well as the developers originally promised, but it is still much better than what it was before. And Infinity Ward also promised impressive support after the release, which smoothly brings the audience to another good news.

It consists in the imminent launch of the battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 – it is built on a completely new engine, like Modern Warfare 2, so the battle royale should not have so many bugs, flaws and non-working mechanics. And if the new part of the shooter should be released on October 28 (on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S), then the royal battle should be released later, but during the current year. Perhaps it will happen at the end of November – a great window to take over the audience before the holidays.
