It is well known that dads do everything to make sure their children have a good time, whether it is throwing parties, preparing their favorite meals or even hiring Grinch imitators to get in the Christmas spirit.
This is what Laura Magill did, who paid $ 96 to have a Grinch impersonator come to her house to play with her son. However, things did not go at all as she planned.
I just wanted a fun evening
In a post On Facebook, Laura expressed her frustration as she found an ad offering the services of a Grinch who goes to the houses to play with the kids, mess up her bed, organize pillow fights, put toilet paper around the tree and take pictures of the fun evening.
Christmas is coming up, so she decided to hire him. Error! What was supposed to be a fun evening for everyone turned out to be a real disaster, literally.
Things got out of hand
The impersonator of the iconic character made a horrible mess in the house, from smearing the walls cupcakes that Laura had bought until she broke the Christmas decorations. But this was not all, as the Grinch did not just ruin Christmas, he also poured soap and smashed eggs on his kitchen floor. Also, he emptied a bottle of juice on Laura’s little son, ruining his new onesie.
Obviously, Laura contacted the agency she hired the Grinch at, but until the moment she posted her unpleasant experience, she had had no response.
Reactions on Twitter
One Twitter user He posted screenshots of the story, claiming it was “the most fun he had ever seen in his life.” The tweet quickly went viral and reactions of all kinds were swift.
There are who they joke and they say “if you pay for the Grinch, you get the Grinch! People are no longer happy with anything. ” Others users they doubt the veracity of the event, assuring that “people do whatever it takes to go viral.” And, as always, there were some persons who tried to see the positive side of things: “At least the child looks happy.”
Regardless, paying someone £85 to mess up your house wtf is wrong with people.
