A beam used in the works of the subway monorail in the state capital fell from a trailer on Jacu-Pêssego Avenue, in the east of São Paulo. The occurrence was at dawn on Wednesday (14) and caused the blockade of about three roads of the avenue.
The subway informs in a note that the truck involved in the accident was leaving the manufacturing courtyard and storage of the pieces and was transporting the beam to the expansion works of line 15-prow.
“There was no wound with pedestrians or collaborators and a traffic lane from the avenue was blocked for the process of removing the beam by crane, fulfilling the security protocols,” says the subway.
