Montenegro: Unknown opened fire in the town of Cetina – At least 11 dead

At least eleven people were killed today when an unknown person opened fire in the city of Cetina, in the center of the country, the public radio and television of of MontenegroRTCG, In4s website and Vijesti newspaper.

“Eleven people were killed and six were injured, including a member of the police,” according to RTCG, which added that the perpetrator is included in this tally. A police officer who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed the number to AFP.

The website In4s claims that the perpetrator of the attack is 34-year-old resident Vucko Borilovic, who opened fire on several people around his house. According to unofficial information there was some family dispute.

A police officer was injured in the head, but it is unknown so far whether the attacker was killed during the conflict or committed suicide, reports In4s.

The local media broadcast information about three seriously injured people who were taken to the hospital, as well as that the attacker for some time did not let the ambulances approach the injured.
