Month of July says goodbye with cold front in the South and Southeast from Thursday (26)

The month of July says goodbye with a cold front and August should be with lower temperatures, according to Climatempo meteorologist Carine Gama.

In an interview with CNN Radio she explained that this month “was very hot” and this should continue until Thursday, in Rio Grande do Sul, which will have storms and strong winds, as well as the rest of the South region, which will be at risk of frost.

According to the meteorologist, the South, Southeast and Mato Grosso do Sul, as of Thursday (28), will feel the impact of the cold air mass.

“The weather will change over the weekend in São Paulo, the temperature should drop a lot, Friday it rains, and the mass of cold air is present.”

The beginning of the week, however, “will have no changes”: “There is a predominance of dry air mass, with temperatures above average. It only rains in punctual areas such as the north of the northeast and north.”

Air humidity will be “close to 20%” in places like Goiás, Tocantins and Distrito Federal. São Paulo and Minas Gerais will also suffer from dryness, which is around 30%.
