Indian Prime Minister Narendra Monti announced today with a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski about “restoring peace and stability” in Ukraine, in view of the Summit in China where Russian President is scheduled to attend. Modi, who arrived early today in the Chinese city of Tianzin, a port in northern China for the Sangai Cooperation Summit (OSS), stressed that he offered India’s “full support” in communicating with Zelenski. “We have exchanged views on the ongoing conflict, its humanitarian aspect and efforts to restore peace and stability,” Monty said in a social media post. “India offers its full support for all efforts to achieve this goal,” he noted.
