Monty Norman: Composer of James Bond’s Legendary Theme Dies

At the age of 94, after “short illness“, passed away, o composer Monty Norman, the composer who wrote the music for the James Bond films.

Norman as mentioned by Guardian, was born in Stepney, east London, to Jewish parents. When his mother was 16 years old bought a guitar for 15 pounds and very soon he would discover their music Beatles and his Eric Clapton.

In the 1950s and early 1960s he began singing in big bands and later wrote for musicals and films, including Songbook, Poppy and Make Me An Offer.
