More Than $ 10 Billion Has Already Been Blocked On The Ethereum 2.0 Deposit Contract

The amount of blocked funds in the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract exceeded $ 10 billion (3.99 million ETH).

The indicator corresponds to 3.45% of the market supply of the second largest cryptocurrency in terms of capitalization.

Coins blocked in staking ETH2 are 2.7 times less than the number involved in Ethereum-based decentralized finance protocols. According to DeFi Pulse, this figure is 10.9 million coins (~ $ 61.7 billion).
