More than 10,000 immigrants have arrived in the United Kingdom by intertwining the Channel with small boats since the beginning of the year, an unprecedented number for this year, according to a countdown by the French Interior Bureau. After arriving 473 people with 8 boats on Monday, immigrants who arrived on British territory in the last four months amounted to 10,335. It is the first time since 2018, when these attempts began, surpassing the landmark of 10,000 arrivals so early. Last year, 10,000 arrivals were recorded on May 24 and 2023 on June 17.
