Next Sunday (22) elections will be held in Argentina. In 84 countries, 451,200 Argentine citizens registered to vote for president, vice-president, 24 senators, 130 deputies, in addition to 43 Mercosur parliamentarians. However, due to the wars, more than 14 thousand citizens of that country in Israel and Ukraine will not be able to vote.
The information was confirmed to CNN by sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
There will be exactly 14,201 Argentines registered in Israel and 152 in Ukraine without the possibility of voting next Sunday.
Normally, outside of military contexts, Argentines who live abroad and wish to vote in their elections can do so after registering. International voting will take place on the 22nd from 8am to 6pm, following each country’s local time.
