More than 2,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed as of Wednesday during the invasion of Russia, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
“More than 2,000 Ukrainians have died, not counting our defenders,” the service’s statement said. “Children, women and our defense forces are losing their lives by the hour,” it added in the statement.
According to the service, some transport infrastructure, homes, hospitals and kindergartens were “destroyed” by Russian forces in the last seven days.
