More than 350 people were killed during attack launched by Hamas militants on October 7 at the music festival held in the Negev desert of the south Israelaccording to a newer Israeli police report.
Israeli TV network Channel 12 citing police sources brings the death toll to 364.
A previous report by the authorities spoke of 260-270 dead at the outdoor music festival.
The Israeli police estimate that the perpetrators of the attack did not know in advance about the festival, but took the opportunity to kill defenseless youth.
The carnage in the Negev desert was the deadliest of the combined attacks launched by the Hamas on the 7th of October. According to survivors, gunmen set fire to cars and burned alive those who sought refuge in them.
