More than 600 new coronavirus cases in South Korea

Another 677 cases of the new coronavirus South Korea has recorded the last 24 hours, the first time in six days that the infections are over 600.

Two deaths were recorded during the same period.

The pandemic of the new coronavirus in the country has reached so far 1,965 deaths out of a total of 141,476 infections. The mortality rate has fallen to 1.39%, as underlined by AMPE.

The number of cases increased rapidly compared to the previous one (459), while exceeding the limit of 600 for the first time in the last six days. The average number of cases on a daily basis in the last week is 542.

After the mass immunization campaign in South Korea, on February 26, 6,358,512 people received the first dose of the vaccine, with 2,198,010 of them receiving the second dose.
