The authorities of the Dominican Republic, which last year presented a program with the aim of returning 10,000 Haitians each week, departed 86,406 irregular migrants in the first quarter of 2025, according to a report by the Directorate -General for Migration (DGM) published by the French Agency yesterday. President Luis Abinader, elected in 2020 and re -elected in 2024, turned the fight against his battle chariot.
