More than a million points in AnTuTu: 4-nanometer SocCSnapdragon 898 will receive a super-core Cortex-X2 with a frequency of 3.09 GHz

Earlier it was reported that Qualcomm will choose the Snapdragon 895 for its successor to the Snapdragon 888, but now Chinese sources have announced that the platform will be released under the name Snapdragon 898, and have announced its characteristics.

The Snapdragon 898 single-chip system will receive one super-core Cortex-X2 with a frequency of 3.09 GHz. The source claims that its performance will be noticeably higher than that of its predecessor. According to the preliminary results of GeekBench 5 testing, in single-threaded mode, the Snapdragon 898 scores about 1250 points, and when all points are used, the platform gains about 4000 points. This is significantly more than the Snapdragon 888. The source believes that AnTuTu score will exceed a million points for the first time. So far, the record of 845 210 points in AnTuTu belongs to the RedMagic 6R smartphone.
