In an episode of the seventh season of the program, her story was shown, narrating her binge food motivated by the trauma of her parents’ abandonment and the severe pain she had due to overweight. Maja depended on her boyfriend for all the tasks of everyday life, who went with her to seek the help of Dr. Now.
The deadly pound doctor recommended her a diet and exercise to qualify for bariatric surgery – which she failed. Her boyfriend abandoned her in the middle of the process, justifying that she did not know that the plan would take so long to end.
Despite not achieving his goals while accompanied by the reality show, Maja continued his weight loss process and currently shows his new reality on his social networks: independent, active and in a new relationship.
In her Instagram she shares moments of her daily life, her passion for decorated nails and family meetings.
“I’m where I would like to be? No, I’m not. But I’m better than it was before? Yes, I am. One thing I do not fail to do is try, again and again. Failure many times, I still fail … Failure for days, week after week, month after month. But I keep trying, I still break it in my mind, this constant battle between me and food, this constant thinking I can’t give up,” 2021.
According to her Facebook page, she works as a Digital Marketing Analyst at Kaiser Permanent, one of the largest US medical assistance organizations.
The episode of deadly pounds that tells the story of Maja will be broadcast on TV Record this Friday (23), at 23h, after the reality show Power Couple Brazil.
