The next round of Russian -American talks on lifting “stimuli” in relations between the two countries was canceled on the initiative of the US side, the Russian Foreign Ministry said today. “The next meeting (…) was canceled at the initiative of US negotiators,” Russian diplomat spokesman Maria Zaharova said in a brief statement. “We hope that this pause will not be too great,” she added, without giving further details on the possible reasons for this postponement. According to Moscow’s terminology, the work of diplomatic missions is one of the “stimuli” in relations between Russia and the United States, which recently carried out two rounds of negotiations in Turkey on this issue.
