Moscow carnage: Suspects had 'contacts' in Ukraine, Russian security agency FSB says

Russia's security service (FSB) said on Saturday that the suspects in Friday's terror attack at a concert hall near Moscow had “contacts” in Ukraine and were planning to flee there. “After committing the terrorist attack, the criminals planned to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border and had appropriate contacts on the Ukrainian side,” the FSB said in a statement, cited by Russia's TASS news agency. The FSB added, according to this agency, that the attack was carefully planned. At the same time, the Russian news agency Interfax reported, citing the FSB announcement, that four alleged perpetrators of the attack were heading to the border of Russia with Ukraine when they were arrested early this morning and had contacts on the Ukrainian side. The jihadist organization Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for this attack, while Ukraine has already denied any involvement since yesterday.
