Moscow is waiting for an American response to its “ideas” for a prisoner exchange

Russia has submitted ideas to the US for a prisoner exchange, and is now awaiting responses, Russia’s deputy foreign minister said in an interview published today by Russian state news agency Tass. These statements are made as the trial of American journalist Evan Gerskovich, who has been held in Russia for over a year, is expected to begin on June 26.
