The Symbus Mini has been added to Moshi’s product range. It connects to the host using a USB-C connector. If a laptop acts as a host, it can count on power (up to 70W). Symbus Mini is configured with SD and microSD card slots with UHS-1 support, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, and one HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet port. In other words, it’s a docking station, although the manufacturer itself calls the Moshi Symbus Mini a portable USB-C hub. The device is Thunderbolt 3 compatible and Plug and Play. No driver installation required.

The monitor connected to the dock can output 4K video at 60 Hz, HDR and 7.1 surround sound.
During storage and transportation, the USB-C cable can be stowed away in a special recess, where it is magnetically secured.
The Symbus Mini device costs $ 90.
