A mother mother of three is being attacked online for the videos she posted of herself breastfeeding her two-year-old son. Netizens claim she should be “locked up” for abuse.
Mother Emma O’Donnell, 35, from Glasgow, cannot believe the attack she is receiving.
The woman posted a video in which she describes the attacks she received and the shock she experienced from them, with many accusing her of “having issues”, although, as she notes, the World Health Organization recommends the breastfeeding for children up to at least two years of age.
“I can’t believe the reactions that have been caused. My son is 2.5 years old but people think I’m abusing him,” she says in the video.
“It’s funny because the video is about weaning and how I’m trying to stop breastfeeding, but obviously I should be locked up because I’m doing something so natural and normal,” notes the 35-year-old.
“People have lost touch with who they are. We are made to feed and support our babies“, emphasizes the mother.
