The case concerns Susan Smith, who in 1994 drowned her two sons, 3-year-old Michael and 14-month-old baby Alexander, when she put them in the car and then threw it into a lake in Carolina, USA. Then, she called the police claiming that an African-American man had kidnapped her children and stolen her vehicle.
