Motive sought for crossbow killer who killed prominent BBC commentator’s family

A man wanted by police in connection with a crossbow attack that left three women dead was arrested yesterday. The massive manhunt for 26-year-old Kyle Clifford ended when he was found injured near a cemetery in north London. The victims, who were the wife and two daughters of BBC sports commentator John Hunt, were attacked at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire. A woman who knows the family described them as “kind and friendly” people who “always made time for others”. Police said the suspect, who left the military two years ago after a brief stint, was receiving medical treatment for his injuries but that “no shots were fired” by officers.
