Business cooperation agreements in the fields of renewable sources and in particular of offshore wind farms and liquefied natural gas were signed by the Motor Oil group during the visit of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Abu Dhabi.
Specifically, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Motor Oil signed a Strategic Framework Agreement to explore opportunities for liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo supply in Greece, including the future floating storage unit and liquefied natural gas storage unit (LNG) FSRU) of “Dioriga Gas”, as well as to explore other cooperation opportunities at the “Dioriga Gas” terminal.
Also, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) and Motor Oil for the possible development of offshore wind farms and other renewable energy projects in Greece.
