A motorcycle ended up on top of a pole, amidst electrical wiring, in the early hours of this Monday (22), in the region of Aricanduva, a neighborhood in the east zone of São Paulo. The incident occurred during the fall of a balloon.
The owner of the vehicle is motorcycle courier Kauê Ribeiro, 20 years old. He told CNN that the balloon passed by his house and one of its ropes ended up getting tangled in the motorcycle, which hit the car of the motorcyclist’s mother, which overturned, hitting, in turn, a neighbor’s car.
On social media, the delivery boy reported his despair after noticing the damage to his work tool. Watch below.
The motorcycle got stuck in the electrical wiring, but was eventually removed by Enel technicians this morning. The Traffic Engineering Company (CET) and the Fire Department accompanied the operation.
The balloon crash also affected the distribution of electricity in part of the eastern part of the city, according to Enel Distribuição São Paulo. By 8 am, 95% of the affected customers had their power restored and the company’s technicians were still working in the region.
