Movement for Change: The Mitsotaki-Erdogan meeting is positive

Positive but maintaining reservations, the Movement for Change commented on yesterday’s meeting of Messrs. Erdogan and Mitsotaki, in Istanbul, expecting information from the prime minister about their discussion, which will probably take place in the afternoon, according to a statement from the party’s press office.

“We consider positive any step that contributes to the stability of the wider region as well as to the de-escalation of the tensions of the previous period. “In this regard, we expect the information from the Prime Minister”, notes KINAL and adds:

“Respect for national sovereignty and international law is the only way to peace, prosperity and stability between peoples. This is our message to the Turkish political leadership.”

In the same statement, he referred to the war in Ukraine and the new data that are being created, emphasizing that “imperialist revisionist views of leaders like Mr. Putin must be in the crosshairs of the international community” and points out:

“Humanity is living in a new reality after the illegal and barbaric invasion of Russia by Russia. A war in the heart of Europe with thousands dead and millions of refugees is rapidly changing the priorities of the states.”
