Movement for Change: Why we did not support the government’s amendment on the media

PASOK-Movement for Change explains the choice not to support the government’s amendment on the media in Parliament, arguing that “it wants the media to operate in terms of transparency, but without straw people and hiding.”

Executives of K.O. The party points out that the government proposed the amendment, once again without any consultation, in order to be complete it should have similar provisions that also apply to the sites. A similar position was expressed by the president of ESIEA, Maria Antoniadou.

“Thus, in no case can we defend straw people, but on the other hand we want there to be uniform rules for all. We call on the government to bring a comprehensive provision, which we will support,” said K.O. of KINAL-PASOK.
