The moving average of deaths from Covid-19, which considers the last seven days, has been above 200 for a month, according to data released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass). The index was 226 in the update made this Thursday (28).
The indicator reached the 208 mark on the 28th of June, and since then, it has kept fluctuating. The maximum during the period took place on July 12, when the number was 265.
The moving average that considers Covid infections fell by 33% in one week. Today the indicator stands at 34,751. On July 21, the floating case rate was 51,938.
These numbers serve to monitor the indicators of the epidemiological situation in the country without possible distortions caused by underreporting on weekends.
Also according to the daily update of the Conass panel, Brazil recorded, in the last 24 hours, 265 deaths and 44,592 cases of Covid-19.
With this, the total number of fatal victims in the national territory, since the beginning of the pandemic, is 678,069. With regard to contamination, the country has 33,748,985 infections.
In the last survey carried out by CNN Agency , on Wednesday (27) Brazil reached the mark of 84.47% of the eligible population vaccinated with the first dose. With the 2nd dose or single dose, the number is at 79.20%.
Those who took a third dose account for 46.03% of the eligible public. With the second extra dose (4th dose), the country has 10.12% of eligible individuals vaccinated. The population that can take this vaccine is 21,744,107 people.
