Brazil recorded this Thursday (9) 45,073 infections by Covid-19 and 143 deaths from the disease, according to data released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass).
With the update, the moving average of cases rose to 37,575. This is the highest number since March 19, when Conass averaged 38,162.
The indicator that considers the average of daily cases remains on the rise. Yesterday it was 36,537, on Tuesday (7) the index was 35,304 and on Monday, 31,065.
The moving average was 123. The moving averages consider the variation of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days.
These numbers allow the monitoring of the epidemiological situation without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends or problems in accessing the databases.
The country has recorded 667,790 fatalities and 31,360,850 infections from the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
