Brazil recorded this Sunday (1st) 16 deaths and 6,263 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass).
With that, the moving average of deaths was 124. This number is 26.5% higher than last Sunday (24), when the index was 98.
The moving average of cases reached 15,005.
These indices consider the last seven days and serve to monitor the indicators of the epidemiological situation in the country without any distortions caused by underreporting on weekends.
The country has 663,513 deaths and 30,454,499 infections from the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
