Brazil recorded 39 deaths from Covid-19 and 12,775 cases of the disease in the last 24 hours. The data were released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) this Monday (23).
As a result, the moving average of deaths was 97, a drop of 14.91% compared to Monday of last week (16), when the indicator was 114.
The moving average of cases was 14,585. The numbers consider the average number of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days.
In the last submission of information, three states did not notify new numbers regarding the coronavirus due to technical problems in accessing the information systems database, and therefore the updates from the previous day were kept. They are: Acre, Ceará and Piauí.
The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, the country has had 30,803,995 Covid-19 infections and 665,666 deaths from the disease.
