The Electoral Attorney General’s Office asked this Monday (6th) that Minister Nunes Marques, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), reconsider last week’s decision that benefited a Bolsonar deputy. THE CNN anticipated on Friday that an appeal was being prepared by the Electoral Public Ministry.
On Thursday, Nunes Marques suspended a decision by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), which in October canceled the mandate of state deputy Fernando Francischini (União Brasil-PR).
“The Electoral Public Ministry requests the reconsideration of r. appealed decision or, if that does not occur, the procedural appeal filed is granted, with the reform of the aggravated monocratic decision and the restoration of the effects of the judgment handed down by the TSE”, wrote the Deputy Electoral Attorney General, Paulo Gonet.
