The Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Civil Police of Paraná carried out a search and seizure warrant against a suspect of producing child pornography in a traditional and upscale club in Curitiba. The investigation also investigates the storage of images.
Warrants were fulfilled this Friday morning (31), in two houses, in the Cajuru and Uberaba neighborhoods. According to the investigation, the man would have recorded videos of female children and adolescents inside the local locker room. The suspect works at the club, according to confirmations from the Public Ministry.
Investigations remain confidential. The man will be investigated for the crime of producing and storing child pornography.
The operation involved the work of agents from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Nucleus for the Protection of Children and Adolescents Victims of Crime (Nucria), the Civil Police, in addition to two official experts from the Scientific Police of Paraná. The court orders were issued by the Court of Criminal Offenses against Children, Adolescents and the Elderly of the Central Court of the District of the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba.
In a note, Clube Curitibano informed that “it is collaborating with the investigations and taking the pertinent measures”. Because it is an investigation under secrecy of justice, the club claims that it cannot pass on other information.
