The Public Prosecution Service of Rio de Janeiro held Red Command Traffickers Searches in Casimiro de Abreu, in Baixada Litorânea, on the morning of Friday (4).
Members of Casimiro de Abreu Prosecutor’s Office and Safety and Intelligence Coordination 12 search and seizure warrants at the addresses of the investigated for drug trafficking . The MP confirmed that the targets are linked to the criminal faction.
According to investigations, the region is used as Active Route for Interstate Drug Trafficking . Judicial orders were met in the neighborhoods of Vila Mataruna, Santa Ely, Village, São Sebastião and Jardim Aparecida.
One of the episodes cited by the prosecutor who pointed to the expansion of trafficking in the region was the arrest of two women, on March 23, when transported more than 3,000 pins of narcotics . The drug containers alluded to the Red command and “Casemiro CPX” .
The representation sent to the court also pointed out that, between 2024 and 2025, they were registered 60 occurrence reports related to the seizure of drugs in the region.
