MPT notifies Pedro Guimarães again after allegations of harassment

The Public Ministry of Labor (MPT) sent a new notification to the former president of Caixa Pedro Guimarães in an investigation that investigates allegations of sexual and moral harassment against him. The information was confirmed by CNN .

The request, sent on Monday night (18), is for him to be personally triggered. The executive left the command of the bank at the end of last month, after bank employees reported cases of harassment they had suffered. In early July, the former manager did not manifest himself in the first notification from the MPT.

Seven servers sought the CNN to denounce episodes of abusive attitudes, especially in the technology sector. In total, four agreed to give testimonies.

The Federal Audit Court (TCU) also reacted and immediately requested information from the state bank on existing mechanisms to prevent and combat harassment. The request has already been made by the president of the TCU, Minister Ana Arraes, to the General Secretariat for External Control.
