MtGOX Trustee Nobuaki Kobayashi issued an open letter approving the rehabilitation plan, which was almost unanimously adopted by creditors a month ago.
Voting of creditors of the MtGOX exchange on the rehabilitation plan ended on October 8 – 99% of respondents expressed their support for it. Yesterday, November 16, exchange trustee Nobuaki Kobayashi posted an open letter to affected MtGOX users.
“The Trustee would like to express deep gratitude to all participants for their support and understanding, which led to the final approval of the rehabilitation plan. The trustee will pay all creditors the funds according to the rehabilitation plan. Lenders will receive additional notice regarding the amounts, methods and timing of payments, ”the letter says.
To pay off the funds, Kobayashi asks creditors to register in the rehabilitation system of the MtGOX exchange and provide all the necessary data, including bank account numbers, to which payments will be transferred.
Recall that in 2014, the MtGOX exchange was hacked, during which attackers stole 850,000 BTC from the site. In February, a Tokyo court approved a new civil rehabilitation plan, with funds expected to be returned to creditors in the same form in which they deposited them.
