Much Improved Mass Effect Trilogy Coming To Modern Platforms

Electronic Arts and BioWare have announced the official release date for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition reissue, and also published a trailer showing improved visuals.

In Mass Effect Legendary Edition, everything from character models and textures to shaders, lighting, and even pre-rendered cinematics for modern 4K TVs has been improved.

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition includes enhanced versions of Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, as well as over 40 expansion packs, including story DLC, bonus weapons, armor, and more.

Several locations in the game, including Eden Prime, Ilos and Feros, have been heavily redesigned. Skirmishes, squad controls, user interface, and even Mako controls have all received upgrades.

In addition to this, the default female appearance of Shepard from Mass Effect 3 was added as an option for the first two games, allowing players to start their journey with this character.

The game is expected to be released on May 14 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5.
