Mum says she underwent 'intense' chemotherapy and prepared for 'goodbye' but found out she never had cancer

An incredibly difficult situation was experienced by a 39-year-old mother from Texas, when she was initially told that she was suffering from a rare aggressive form of cancer, entered the chemotherapy process, and then was informed that she had been misdiagnosed. Lisa Monk went to the hospital in 2022 with stomach pains and kidney stones that were successfully removed after surgery revealed a strange mass in her spleen. They then took a sample of the spleen and sent it to 4 different labs for testing, with the last one finding a deadly form of cancer called angiosarcoma, the Mirror reports. Angiosarcoma is a type of cancer that forms in the lining of blood vessels and lymph vessels, according to the Mayo Clinic. “It was a type of cancer from the blood vessels found in the spleen and they told me it's the worst thing that could happen, they gave me 15 months to live,” Monk revealed in a video.
