From the testimonies collected by the police, it appears that a scooter-type motorcycle, on which two people were riding, was following the vehicle of the 53-year-old.
In the attempt of the victim to park in the parking lot, one of the passengers of the motorcycle, approached the car and allegedly shot the 53-year-old, as reported by a response from the Athenian News Agency.
The scene was cordoned off by the police for conducting examinations, during which various items were received.
The body of the 53-year-old was transported to the morgue of the General Hospital of Nicosia, where an autopsy is expected to be performed.
