Mushkin Enhanced MFG has unveiled the Redline Vortex series of high-performance SSDs. They use Innogrit IG5236 (Rainier) controllers that comply with the PCIe Gen4 specification. They deliver up to 7415MB/s sequential read and 6800MB/s sequential write. Performance on random access operations in 4 KB blocks reaches 730,000 IOPS in read mode and 1,500,000 IOPS in write mode. To improve performance, SLC dynamic caching and a DRAM buffer are used. Chip cooling is provided by a “carbon nanoradiator”, which practically does not increase the thickness of the drive. Redline Vortex dimensions are 22 x 80 x 2.25 mm.

Drives are available in 512 GB, 1 and 2 TB. The resource does not provide a source, but it is known that the SSD has a five-year warranty. The MSRP for the 512GB model is $78 and the 1TB model is $125.
