Mushrooms – Reference 1.2.0

Mushrooms – a useful application containing a detailed description of the most famous edible, inedible and poisonous mushrooms growing in Russia and neighboring countries. It will be useful for both novice mushroom pickers and experienced lovers of quiet hunting.

The application contains three main sections:

  • “Edible Mushrooms”;
  • “Inedible mushrooms”;
  • “Directory”.

The section “Edible mushrooms” contains descriptions of edible and conditionally edible mushrooms.

The Inedible Mushrooms section provides descriptions of inedible, poisonous, and deadly poisonous mushrooms.

The “Handbook” section contains a list of useful articles about mushrooms, their classification and role in nature and human life.

There is also a “Favorites” section, with which you can create your own list of mushrooms.

At the moment, about 300 species of mushrooms are described in the application.

For each species, the name is given in Russian and Latin, synonyms and popular names, position in the classification system, collection season, as well as a detailed description, which contains the following paragraphs:

  • biological description;
  • Places of growth;
  • nutritional qualities;
  • Similar species;
  • Toxicity and first aid (for poisonous mushrooms);
  • Application in medicine (for some species);
  • Growing recommendations (for some species).

The description of each type of mushroom contains 3 high-resolution color photographs.

To move from one photo to another, briefly touch it. To view an image in full screen, touch and hold a photo.

In full screen mode, you can zoom and scroll images to the left or right, as well as view them in landscape orientation.

The application supports search by mushroom name in Russian and Latin, as well as search by the name of the family to which a certain type of mushroom belongs.

To search by family name, you need to enter the “#” symbol in the search line, followed by the family name. For example, “#champignon”.

As a result, all mushrooms belonging to this family will be displayed in the list.
