Tina Turner is gone. The queen of rock she died at 83 years old at her villa near Zurich, Switzerland, which she shared with second husband Erwin Bach, who she married ten years ago after a long engagement.
Born Anna Mae Bullock, she had been missing from the scene for years because she was afflicted with a long illness. One of her last public releases dates back to 2019 on the occasion of the musical dedicated to her on Broadway. That evening she saw her smiling, arm in arm with her friend Oprah Winfrey.
